Whenever I work remotely, I only have the tolerance for 5-6 hrs of work a day. Anyone else have this issue? Not having chitchat & time-wasting meetings makes for a lean work day.
Agency I’m at just laid off a ton of FTEs. Is being a freelancer becoming stable because we don’t count as headcount, and they need us during the ensuing chaos?
At a FT CD interview the CD (a would-be peer) was super put off by my long history of freelancing and couldn’t wrap her head around how I’d be able to manage and lead teams, despite my decades...
Anyone from Mullen LA (or any Mullen office really) that can point me to who handles freelance creatives? Thanks! email@example.com
I have 3 google drives - personal & 2 work. It’s such a pain signing in & out to look for docs. Is there a way to streamline?
Tomorrow, Thursday December 12th, we’re meeting at 6:30–8PM in Kobricks Coffee (24 9th St) cafe side, then headed downstairs to Troy Liquor Bar (675 Hudson St.) 8pm–Onward. Hope to see you all there!
What email client do you use? I have 3 separate gmails between work and personal - any tips on how to aggregate?
Any ACD/CD art director looking to team up for a possible gig next week (starting 12/16)? DM me your book and day rate! NYC.
Need advice on rebooting my freelance network after a self-funded maternity leave. Any thoughts on how to get going again or how to re-energize your freelance gigs after a hiatus?
What do you do when an agency is taking a long time to pay you? It’s two weeks past when they said I’d get the money.
Is $75 an hour in SF a good rate for a designer with like 1.5 years of experience? I threw that out at an interview and the recruiter balked and now I'm feeling paranoid 😔
