Has anyone gone through the interview process for PWC or Accenture recently? Should I prepare for case studies?
Must have had a bad oyster... Puked three times during a major client meeting (in bathroom). Amazing how in consulting it just isn't acceptable to be 'sick' save loss of an arm or death by explosion.
After graciously agreeing to help a candidate with a mock interview, I got stood up by this fine candidate 🤯 FML
Am I being underpaid? Just turned into a S1, getting paid 80K at a big 4 in a HCOL but not NY or SF
What do you do on Monday to get your week set up? I feel like I spend so much time helping my team get their pipelines in shape for the week / setting up a plan.
I Have an interview with kpmg for AAS under M&A, does anyone have any tips on how I should prepare for my interview?
Any recommendations on a good office chair? Looking for comfort over looks. 200-300$ range.
Quitting the firm in the next two months and have 15 PTO days left unused. Does it make sense to roll off my project and then use my 15 days of PTO before quitting or to cash out my 15 days?
High back office chair recommendations <$500?
What’s the most strategic exit you can make when getting a new job? I want to roll off my project and just say I am looking for a new project and just never take a new one... (sounds terrible I know) My current project contract is about to be over and a lot of people are using it as an opportunity to roll off even though they’re prolly gonna renew it. Start date for my new job is negotiable so I really want to collect as many checks and stack PTO as much as I can. Deloitte Accenture EY PwC Boston Consulting Group Accenture
Last week of my project! Who needs/wants a Senior Analyst? Travel preferably (I'm in the Bay Area)
Folks with united mileageplus silver status, if you are traveling to Asia on United operated flights with 3 companions on same ticket, do they get the same baggage allowance of 2 bags 70lbs each?
A question I can’t seem to find a good thread about: How often do you interview? I really like my current position. I have great WLB, a great team, and a lot of good exposure to an industry that’s growing fast. I don’t have many complaints at all. That being said I feel like I need to interview to stay sharp in playing “the game” of my career. Do you all respond to every LinkedIn message? At the beginning of my career I think it’s really helpful to know my worth by interviewing. Thoughts?
Do any of you feel like your parents treat you differently or take advantage of you after you started making a Biglaw salary? This has been my experience. The amount of times I’ve heard “you make a lot of money, you can afford _____ / should do ____with your money” is frustrating. They also broke something in my apartment and didn’t even offer to replace it (I wouldn’t have made them, but an offer would be nice).
Looking to leave PwC. I feel overworked and underpaid. My current salary is 58k even after 2 raises. I’m an experienced associate. Would it be worth going to a accounting firm that’s NOT a Big 4?
Staying at the Hilton Caribe in San Juan, PR for about a week. Any suggestions for restaurants, bars, fun tours, etc. to do in this area?
