Hi all, as a Talent Acquisition Partner that is looking to start expending my Professional education, would you recommend pursuing SHRM-CP certification?

What are well paying HR roles or roles that have an upside in the coming years? Is the only option to get into big tech? For reference, I'm living in NYC with a base of 100K right now. Given the prices in NYC, 100K doesn't seem enough to live here.

I worked in HR for 11 years, with my most recent role being HR Manager for a small company (12-60 employees). I shifted careers to Personal Training in December 2020 due to instability at the small company and my passion for health and wellness.

Now I am now looking to get back into an HR role, preferably in a Benefits Analyst or a Generalist role. What advice do you have for approaching companies? Do they see things like certifications and SHRM membership as advantages?

Hello everyone. I never thought about making a career out of hr but its definitely something that I want to do now. Eventually, my goal is to become an HRIS analyst. At ADP i worked as a technical support analyst and helped clients with anything from troubleshooting system issues to reporting to processing payroll and much more. I've applied to over 100 positions and havent even advanced to a single interview. It has been rejection after rejection. Any suggestions on which positions to focus on?

I’m a business/sales recruiter at a late stage tech company in CA. I’ve advanced twice in my tenure (shy or 4yrs), but make about $120k. I outperform all sr members on the team, take on mentorship for other jr members, participate in x-functional projects. My manager says I am doing great, but doesn’t want to help with my growth. I feel a bit under paid for the amount of impact I’ve brought to the team and larger org. Is it fair to escalate above manager?
