TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

I’m in my 30s and I would hate to work weekends. I used to do it for several years before covid but always felt like I missed out on a lot with friends. Now when they tell stories about things that happened I’m like..oh I wasn’t there because I was working 🥹 BUT if it’s your only option you can definitely make it work and make the most out of the weekends you do have off!

Depends, does the 3x12s include EVERY weekend? I would only take the 3x12s if there was a stipulation of no more than 4 weekend days per month and you had the flexibility to request not to be scheduled on certain days in advance. I wouldn’t mind working weekends if I had nothing to do, but if I had plans, I’d definitely want the flexibility to not be scheduled.
Echoing others here in saying I wouldn't mind as long as I still had most of my weekends free. When I've had 3x12s I enjoyed it because I had more days off and 12hr shifts didn't bother me. I don't think I could ever go back to 5x8s because I've gotten used to having at least 3 days off a week.
