Hi 👋. I posted here a few weeks ago about being nervous conducting a PIP conversation with my team member.
I did it this week and let me just say it was the weirdest conversation ever. The guy is usually argumentative and tries to disprove every bit of feedback. But this time he just sat there and asked no questions and said nothing.
Maybe he’s looking for new jobs already - don’t mind this at all and this would be a good outcome for him overall.

What's a good place to start the research on bikes? Wife and I are not bikers but lately we have started renting bikes for weekend trips (trail/mountain bikes) Thinking of getting our own bikes but have no clue where to begin. Checked out a few youtube videos and most of them were sponsored. Looking for suggestions.

How would you go about asking a potential employer about working hour expectations, like being on-call or working 8+ hours a day? I don't mind working extra here and there, but if 50+ hours are required I plan on asking for more compensation. I plan on getting this in writing should I get an offer.

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

Question about job postings. I keep seeing the same equity research associate job on linked in being reposted. Does that mean they’re still looking for candidates or is there another reason?

I am thinking of switching to a different company I wanted to know what can I say about the salary expectations. Currently i am a tax associate 2.

Anyone have experience in raising capital out of the Middle East (Jordan, Kuwait, SA)? Any experience in delivering solutions in that area? I am trying to figure out if a pursuit in that area is to much of a risk. Any insight is appreciated.
