About to start interviewing for AWS and the recruiter sent me a 120 minute assessment to take before the interview process starts. Looks like most of the questions require Audio response. Going through interviews and struggling a lot with social anxiety and feeling awkward. In final rounds at a company where the next interview will be strongly focused on understanding personality and fit. Doing great on content but really can’t connect with people, especially over Zoom. Interviewed with EY New York last week. Did 2 video interviews and the last one was a phone interview. Is that common? Also how long does it take before I hear back?

I graduated in May 2020 and found myself excepting a Junior Art Director position in Healthcare. I never saw myself in health but with many agencies having hiring freezes I decided to get some experience and save up some money in the meantime. Fast forward one year; I’ve added a new campaign to my website and I’m starting to apply to consumer agencies again. Any tips to help me make the transition? Any place to avoid? Applied for a strategy role and recruiting team asked me to interview for a different process improvement/innovation role. Does this mean I’m ruled out for the initial role? Can I ask about it during the call? New role is same YOE requirement but title demotion

I currently max out 401k and ROTH contributions, only debt is a car loan (zero interest) and a mortgage (2.375% APR), have $45k set aside (6 months of expenses) and another $50k in savings. What would you recommend doing with the $50k and any other disposable income? Note: We’re a one income household with two kids, so not much of an appetite for high risk investments.

I work at a small CPA firm & have worked there since I started as an intern. I’m curious about what everyone’s job duties are/were as a senior at other firms? For ex: did you review returns of staff or just prepare? Did you manage the clients like keep a track of their filings, other work you do for them and contact them to send the details or ask questions or is that something the manager does? Are you expected to be very technical and do a lot of research?

1st year associate in public accounting: I know I’m not doing well. I can’t keep up with the work (with review points and extensions). I blow budgets, I even had one Sr manager confront me about not getting to the review points quickly enough and for going way over budget. Another manager had to finish up review points for me (I attempted to get this done but he had another return for me to prepare —that needed to get done ASAP— and then I had a director need me to get extensions out ASAP so I h
