Started a new role. For 9 years I was the go-to for every question for my team. It was exhausting and I was killing myself to please everyone, but I also kind of thrived on it. Now I’m the new kid on the block, know nothing, and feel like I’m adding very little value to my current firm pulling half the hours. I know eventually I will get up to speed and pull my weight. I received a call for Engagement Manager position with AWS. Even though I have the JD for the same, it appears kind of cluttered, with lots of Agile flavour thrown in, hence reaching out to the audience to understand what exactly this role entails?
Is it a sales oriented role, is P & L an integral part of being an Engagement Manager with AWS?

Seems like hiring has slowed down but i feel we are in for another bout of great resignations due to companies calling it's employees back now and employees finding ways to continue WFH. The ones who get lucky continue WFH while not so lucky ones will start switching and startups and other mid level companies cashing in on the talent. Looks like it's the lull before the storm.
