My 2 cents - find the better opportunity and move on
Had a discussion.. no consolation.. no expectations asking... only bragging how good deloitte is... and your CTC is as per market standards.. don't compare with others.
You didn't work on RFPs.
7 years experience is consultant only. Sr consultant are 8+ years
Blah blah

You practically joined 6 years ago,
Now they have changed policy on promotion.
Seen 10+ yrs hired at senior consultant 😮
Level keeps falling
Last week I got to know that HR said this CTC is already on the upper side and thats what is being offered to consultant.
I wrote to my partner that this is really not my fault that policies got changed at the last moment and i wasn't considered for promotion. Now the position itself is becoming constraint.
Now, partner and AD wants to connect tomorrow morning. As per you what can it be? What should I consider while talking to them? What would be genuine ask if they ask me my expectations?
I am newly promoted manager with new CTC of 21, at 9YOE
7yrs con position is a bit bad. At least fix should be 25. Move
I suggest you to clearly mention that you need a salary correction. If they have anything planned then they will let you know. Else it’s just a consolation call and nothing will happen mostly. They will tell you how the market is bad and urge you to look forward to next year. Then you just accept and keep calm saying you’ll look forward to next year. Then try to switch and move on!!
I don't think that 5-10% of the hike can change your life. They why you are hustling so much. Think big try for 100% hike that will definitely change your life.
I joined with 13LPA CTC as consultant with 3.5 yoe , with 8 yoe you are underpaid, you should prefer switching .
I am facing the same issue. I have 6 years 2 months experience and have multiple positive client feedbacks, feedback from peers and etc. I have worked on almost 8 projectd and created an impact wherever I went.
I am currently getting 14.98 as CTC with 13.6 being the fixed component.
The issue is I don't know whether they will consider me for promotion or not. I have clearly communicated to my RM and coach and I also have an MBA.
I hope I am considered for promotion.

In a similar situation, they are just promoting a select few i observed in my team. Partner gave some naive excuse, said this time I will do salary correction, even after hike it less than what u r making.
Cannot trust here anymore, policies can change next year also to exclude hard working employees like us, while a select few will be double promoted in the same duration.
Lot of politics here, not worth the wait in this toxic place.
Can you kindly tell your prev background/company, tech stack and also your last company when you left your ctc..so that i can think of a suggestion
Last organization I left at 10 LPA.
Tech stack- Sql, Power BI, Azure
For tomorrow's all, listen and try to negotiate for hike. If it's futile, best you can do is ask for one time pay out and switch after cool off period

There is a guy in T&T who is AD with 5 YOE.
I’ll give you a clear advice though I have lesser experience than you but still I would say just leave this company and
Look for another opportunity with upper designation and salary hike.
Hii there I’m applying for the Junior Associate role at Deloitte. If you’re open to referring me, I’d be grateful. Happy to share my resume. Thanks! – Qhamar

Switch with good atleast 100-120% hike, you should be getting at least 30 LPA fixed
