I’m looking to do the jump from senior designer to UX/UI designer for better pay and benefits. I’ve designed and developed multiple sites, did artwork for a gaming app, and do 3D/VR work.

Is there anything I should learn or add to my experience to be a high qualifying candidate? And what is the ideal salary for someone with my experience? 7 YOE in this type of work

Desperately want to get into healthcare strategy consulting. 13 years of healthcare clinical experience including project work. MBA. But keep getting told by recruiters that I don't have enough experience to be a Consultant or Manager but that I have too much experience to enter in every level such as a Senior Associate. Just one rejection after another, even when applying with internal referrals from Director or Partner levels. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all- new to fishbowl. Not really sure how to use and explore the app yet but I saw this bowl and figured I would introduce myself. I am a wholesaler for 401K and I am able to partner with advisors who currently uncover 401K opportunities or are looking to learn how to. How do you know when the next move is right? I don’t like my current position at all, I have an offer from a smaller healthcare focused consulting firm doing ERP implementation. I have no idea what I want my next job to be, it sounds interesting enough but I’m unsure if I’m just hopping from one bad positon to another I won’t like.

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

In terms of a place to live, where in Manhattan can I find a place that's similar to River North in Chicago?

I saw this townhouse in a prime location in my city for $350k (cheap for the area). The floors are all messed up though but the buyer said they’ll either lower the house price or give a credit for closing cost. There’s also a lot of nicks here and there (some locks missing from door, dents, scratches, stains, and some things are loose). But overall, the house’s architecture and design is so beautiful. Would it be worth it to get it and fix it up? Or find a newer house with less maintenance?
