I'm in a similar boat. It's now been almost 2 months since I was made redundant, and I think I've applied for 50 roles in that time, I feel like I'm collecting recruiters contacts like a pokemon trainer, had multiple calls and in person interviews for a myriad of roles, and some I'm getting ghosted, some getting knocked back for not having the right experience or certs, and getting knocked back for others because I'm too experienced and they're worried ill jump ship in a year.
Fun times. I hope you have better luck in the near future than I have had.
only 2 months. Myself and many others have been looking for almost 7 months. There is something seriously wrong with the process at the moment. in my career I have nver experienced a market like this and the treatment of candidates is outrageous! In my case I truly believe its ageism.
