Everyone says, “If you’re getting interviews, you’re close to landing a job.” I’ve been getting 2–3 interviews a week for the past month, sometimes even making it to the final round. No feedback, no updates. Just ghosted.

It’s honestly so frustrating. I believe employment should be fair and accessible, but the way candidates are treated sometimes feels anything but.

I’m trying hard, but it’s starting to take a toll. It’s making me question my worth, and I hate that feeling.

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. I don’t want to waste time (colleagues mentioned it doesn’t get much better from here). Do I embrace the suck or look for other opportunities?

I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. 1. Walking distance to gym
2. Walking distance to a grocery store
3. Proximity to Old Toronto/kings st (work) with biking/public transport

Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well
