Anyone have a recent ad salaries survey they can share? Or a Planning Salary Survey that still hasn’t been shared publicly yet? Worked to the bone and underpaid ($120k as a strategy director with 10 years exp in Toronto, before a covid pay cut), and since no one seems to be hiring planners atm, trying my best to get paid (at least closer to) what I’m worth and any evidence of salary bands per title helps. Thanks

I feel like my coworkers and my boss dont trust me. Everytime im given an ownership to something, someone else takes it over. Everytime I give an opinion, people doubt me eventhough many times a different person bring up the same exact thing I say and everybodys on board. Everytime there is an opportunity to lead, my boss always assigns it to everybody in my position but me. I feel down, like is something wrong with me? What can I do?
Need some info: I'm looking for a new position and came across an opportunity at a media+creative agency as an Account Director. What're the main changes I can expect if I was to pivot from a purely creative agency in account management to a media+creative agency within the same dept? I'm going in for first interview soon and wanted to try to learn what I can in the interim.

If I am currently at a fund administrator and want to get into front office of a fund/IB, what’s the best possible route for me? I left auditing for an accounting manager role. My company is in the medical device space and, in working on monthly close tasks, I notice that some sales people do very well. I know sales is more commission heavy, but part of me still thinks about the “what if” I was able to switch. In getting to know some salespeople, they seem to come from all types of backgrounds, from business to public health. I have limited knowledge in the medical space, but I’m willing to learn. Any advice? Drop it?

I have a controversial observation: Facebook seems to be using recruitment process managers to get diversity hires. I've looked at all the RPM hires over the past few years and every one of them seems to be a woman, most commonly a woman of color. I'm all for diversity, but this feels out of balance. Am I wrong?

So - we are doing remote school but schools have been open in NJ for in-person instruction as well. My kids’ school is actually pretty awesome in the arrangements they do for remote learning. But even they are closed already for 2 weeks as 3 kids tested positive !!! So much for freedom.

I feel bad but I’m already incredibly exhausted with work post-round 2 of layoffs and dealing with my family. I almost want to bow out of being a bridesmaid...
Would any of you choose Amazon over other FAANG or even tier 2 tech? all my friends working there hate it and seems like comp lags behind other FAANG unless you account for stock appreciation.

Have 31k in a Roth IRA currently and 60k in a 401k. Thinking of taking advantage of the CARES Act fee waiver. Thoughts on withdrawing the full 31k and investing it in ETFs? That way it's accessible if I ever do need it before turning 60?
Our company usually does performance evaluations in June of each year. Our pay philosophy is not clear. We usually give a COLA in January each year, somewhere around 2% and if an employee performed well, they get above the 2%. I have suggested we change our process to have a clear pay philosophy with increases tied to performance, with goals tied to overall goals of the organization. What is your process? Are you doing performance evals during COVID?
