Anyone have a recent ad salaries survey they can share? Or a Planning Salary Survey that still hasn’t been shared publicly yet? Worked to the bone and underpaid ($120k as a strategy director with 10 years exp in Toronto, before a covid pay cut), and since no one seems to be hiring planners atm, trying my best to get paid (at least closer to) what I’m worth and any evidence of salary bands per title helps. I feel like my coworkers and my boss dont trust me. Everytime im given an ownership to something, someone else takes it over. Everytime I give an opinion, people doubt me eventhough many times a different person bring up the same exact thing I say and everybodys on board. I left auditing for an accounting manager role. My company is in the medical device space and, in working on monthly close tasks, I notice that some sales people do very well. I know sales is more commission heavy, but part of me still thinks about the “what if” I was able to switch. I have a controversial observation: Facebook seems to be using recruitment process managers to get diversity hires. Our company usually does performance evaluations in June of each year. Our pay philosophy is not clear. We usually give a COLA in January each year, somewhere around 2% and if an employee performed well, they get above the 2%. I have suggested we change our process to have a clear pay philosophy with increases tied to performance, with goals tied to overall goals of the organization. What is your process? Are you doing performance evals during COVID?
