Or a start up? 90% of my applications have passed on me before even giving me a first round interview! I’ve been on over 6 deals, and wanting out and it’s been extremely frustrating! I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months. They seem to want to utilize my complete skills set and make up for her lack of marketing knowledge but maintain her position as director and pay me a entry level marketing manager salary. Advice?

The package is 43k, which I find very little considering my 3YOE in consulting.

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I haven’t gotten the official offer letter yet, just verbal.

Need genuine advise. Got a call from Oasis Resource management pvt ltd. They said that they can help in conducting interviews in canada or UK. Total 5 interviews. They will charge 72k for this and 2k for profile investigation. They claim that under work permit, accomodation, travel cost, meal will be borne by employer for whole work visa tenure along with salary as per profile and market standard.
