I've worked for 5 years in Operations and received my MBA during that time. I'm trying to pivot into consulting but can't seem to get any interviews. I feel like I'm simultaneously overqualified for intro positions (even though I'd happily take one) and under qualified for anything else. Any feedback on how to break out of the funk?

Any suggestions for breaking into the financial industry in the US? Currently based in Europe, been in banking for three and half years in a front-office role and about to finish an executive program in International finance. Moving to an upper tier bank in February and was planning to do an MBA in the US and get a job there in two-three years. I just turned 26 but not sure if moving up the ladder and then ask for a transfer there will be the quickest move. Any thoughts?

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

Taking the Security+ cert this week. I'm very rusty in the different areas that will be on the exam. I took some practice exam questions before even starting to study and I didn't do well. Please provide any advice/pointers that have helped others pass on the first try. Thanks in advance.

I am in Fractal at 22 lpa. I am getting an offer from EY at 24 lpa. Is it wise to go ahead and take the offer. I don't like my role at Fractal. EY will give me finance specific role which I am interested in. Yoe 8, mba Finance.

I have a MBA, Six Sigma Green and Black Belt certifications, 28 years in IT Internal Controls, Risk Management, Change Management and Project Implementations Implementations. I need advice on how do I get real attention to be hired in a new company. Is my age a black mark?

I’m at a small boutique firm and am just wondering how helpful would an mba really be at this point in my career? (3 years of experience)

Anyone in tech think (or has done) about going to get their MBA to move into consulting or IB (don’t know if that’s even possible)? I just feel living in Toronto, tech salaries cap out really low. I make good money compared to my peers now in those field, but feel like the difference blows up later in your career

How’s the comp for strategy and ops in big tech across levels? I only know post mba level roughly pays 160-225k
