Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?
Is there anybody who joined Google in Pune?

I moved here over a year ago and in North Austin (Round rock) love it. Im near the Domain (they call it the new downtown) and then downtown is about a 25 minute drive. But there’s lots of neighborhoods that are great: Cedar Park, Bee Cave, Terrytown…Id stay away from Rainy street rental areas (there hv been some crazy unsolved bodies found in the river there and 6th street bc of safety). My buddy lives in Buda south of Austin and there’s a great new masterplan called Easton Park near the newer Tesla factory.
Agree with the above. South Congress, South Lamar and South First are all cool areas too with great food. Solid for renting a one bedroom. South Congress got pretty touristy and shopping oriented (think Austin’s small version of Herald Square but not as intense)
What’s your budget? & What kinds of things are important to you (walkability? quiet neighborhood? close to restaurants/bars? etc.)
I lived at Residence at Saltillo in east Austin. Right up against downtown. Right above a Target and Whole Foods. Very walkable. Parking included in rent. I would say above average apt in terms of design. Two pools, two gyms. I enjoyed it. 1 bedrooms are around 2200 I think
I made the move almost a year ago and I love it! Will you have a car and are you working remotely?
If no car I recommend East Austin or Downtown- plenty of stuff around for everyday without needing to drive. Lots of 1bd apartments there but you’re looking at $1.8-2.2k
If you have a car then I recommend South Austin near South Congress. I’m here and I love it.
Feel free to DM me!
I think you need a certain amount of likes to DM (I liked a bunch of your comments so check again) I moved from NYC too! South Austin reminds me of WBurg and East Austin (no surprise) like EV or LES. Haven’t been north much but there’s way more selection of Chinese food up north.
I loved moving here, and found that driving anywhere isn’t far- outside of peak traffic everything is 8-12 min drive away. Since you have a car I recommend exploring areas outside of just downtown. Ubers are also super cheap for nights out where you’re drinking.
FYI, I the worst traffic is along I-35, even on the weekends it can be bad. Just depends on your budget and if you are commuting. I lived in north Austin and moved to hill country. I love it in hill country!
Thanks!
