Today the high is 90 and humidity is 80%.
Yes, it’s hot. I came from MA, what got me was that it’s just always hot, like still in the 90s at 10pm some nights.
It’s very hot.
Expect temps easily into the 100s in the summer and fall. You sweat stepping outside.
I guess better than Arizona but still hot
It’s just May and it’s so hot and humid. Visit in July and checkout yourself
Spent 15 years in northern Virginia, and it gets hot there too. Honestly last summer was my first summer here in Austin and I found it to be bearable. It's not as humid as the mid Atlantic, but it's definitely hotter. If you want stupid hot and humid go to Houston, that's unbearable. Best part is the winter weather, side from the disaster this past February.
August is typically 100+ (real feel). It’s a dry heat.
TX heat is another level. Hot weather was May - Oct and it hardly cooled down at night. While Atx isn’t as humid as DC, it’s still humid. I ultimately couldn’t take the heat and left.
I’m from northeast and have lived in south for 10+ years.
