Why do you think you can negotiate as a fresh graduate?
lol
lol at campus hires negotiating salary
63k nah bish 65 or I walk 😤
You should be asking for a raise based on the quantifiable achievements during your tenure (reduced process A by X days, improved ABC by $xxxx.xx). Your offer is not relevant at this point.
You forfeited your chance. Learn from your mistakes and move on. In this market be lucky you have a job.
Yea
You are fine, I had the same situation, but not necessarily getting out of college, but trying to escape out of a toxic environment (Within my same industry of my expertise), in which I moved to another company with a slight better salary, but I also feel myself better mental health wise.
If you were unemployed, or earn more than your previous jobs, that’s what it matters. Everything is a process.
Just be patient, get experience, and keep climbing professionally and financially from there.
lol you are a new hire- what’s your negotiation strategy???
Ur only leverage would be competing offers; otherwise there’s not really anything to negotiate aside from your start date…Also it hasn’t been a full year yet so I would not expect too much in terms of raises; I think the feedback you receive would be much more valuable and actionable.. approaching with that attitude (rather than focusing on comp from the get go) would be more productive at this early stage in your career.
