What sort of marketing role(s) does a general strategy consulting toolkit make a consultant looking to exit into industry in the marketing function well suited for?

I’m thinking about moving up to a high school English position from 8th grade English. Mainly I’m looking for a change. Any thoughts on the differences I’d be facing? I have high school children of my own, but disciplining high schoolers has always intimidated me for some reason. I have excellent classroom management, but I feel like high schoolers are a little smarter ab getting around rules and less worried about consequences. I’m told by an hs tchr that the grading load is ab the same.

I’ve been working as a management consultant for 3 years in London across a range of industries. For the last 1.5 yrs I’ve been internal environmental lead. I created our sustainability strategy, tracked carbon emissions, applied for B Corp, set up company campaigns and currently looking at SBTI. How long does it take an average to learn a whole new job and a new computer system. Just had a operation manager fire me because I didn't learn and master a position I've never done before on a system I've never worked on before!! To add insult to injury, she never even had me do a single day of the actual job she hired me for! How is that fair or right!! I would say to all those manager that do despicable things like that to other people!! A good employee is only as good as the teacher!!

Feeling burnt out and unmotivated with agency life. Throughout the past year I’ve been added to a variety of “problem accounts” with challenging, disorganized and rude client contacts. Since then, it feels my teams have dwindled and I’ve been left to pick up the pieces / manage it all. I’m struggling to feel inspired and am starting to dread my work. Any tips for how to initiate account changes without sounding whiny? Or - any tips in general?

Do people actually get briefs for Super Bowl spots/activations? Like an actual full on brief or is it the equivalent of bs awards crap where anyone just brings in proactive ideas throughout the year leading up to it? I genuinely don’t know.

Just accepted an offer for a position at highest I’ve been paid in my career. No sooner than ink dries on the offer the therapist recruiting me to the team <and also sharing the territory> gives notice. Should I be concerned? This stinks to me.
