I have a practice where if there’s a deduction from an employee's wages, I make sure to break it down and explain it clearly to them. It also gets checked by management for transparency. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes employees still kick up a fuss and threaten to take it to upper management, but they rarely follow through. It leaves me wondering how to better address their concerns. How do you handle similar situations to ensure clarity and reduce conflict?

It sounds like you are addressing their concerns to the best of your ability. I think sometimes even when people understand, they are just upset that money is coming out of their check. Try not to take it personal and keep doing what you are doing.

Aww thanks 😊 appreciate that.

It sounds like you already do more than most people. I think your problem is you’re the messenger right? You’re the person that’s telling them the bad news so they’re going to take it out on you.

Yeah, and i completely understand their frustration. Mostly they're always polite but you knowwl the names of who will kick up a fuss.
