anyone can help with a referall to Uber? interested in an AE position! I have 3 YOE and have overachieved every quota that’s been put in front of me, and I know I would be great at this job!!

I'm interviewing for a SaaS AE role this week after getting rif'd from another company.

During my interview I'd like to ask the leaders how they've set their reps up for success and what the company is doing to make sure they don't have the same issues as many other companies seem to be having.

Is there a respectful way to ask and see what the health of the company is?

How important is having a bachelors degree for a career in sales? I’m a 22yo/M and have been in sales for almost two years. I took a break from Uni during Covid because I lost funding for school, so i ended up getting a entry level sales job and working my ass off since then. Changed jobs twice now and am starting my new position as a software account executive and will end the year breaking six figures, but my parents keep pushing me to go back to school. What should I do? Any advice would help

So I have been told I can move into either an AE role or CSM this year, so my question is, which role, in your opinion, would best serve me on the way to my goal to become an SE?

Hey! I’m looking to apply to be a account executive for new business sales at google. Is there anyone that’s currently in that role or works at google that’s open for a discussion or recommendation.

Nearly a year in on a shrinking SDR team.
I am finding it increasingly unlikely that I'll be able to get off this team over to MM AE until the empty seats have been filled and brought up to speed.
At this point a move sideways into an AE role elsewhere is looking better and better.

Should I be patient or just take the leap?

Hello! I am thinking about switching from SMB IT sales to an Account Executive role at AIM. Any fish on this bowl that can comment on their experience as an AE at AIM or similar consulting firms? I want to know what I may be getting myself into.

This company I am interviewing with is not proposing a base salary and an OTE. They are asking me to create it and I really need guidance here. It’s an AE role in medical SaaS sales for orthopedics surgery. What do I need to ask? So far I know that they cover medical insurance, there is no 401k, and there are private company stock options. It’s mainly inside sales with maybe 10% travel.

My thought was 75k base and 110k OTE. But they are saying to lower the base and increase OTE.

Just finished an interview for an AE role at a high-growth SaaS organization.

The interviewer told me that their quotas are very high - barely any of their sales reps hit quota YoY. They mentioned, “goals are high to push our reps. hence our YoY growth”

Is this a red flag?

Keep seeing sales rep and AE roles for various consulting firms (Deloitte / KPMG / Accn). What exactly are you doing in this position? Cold calling and selling project and firm offerings to various clients? Working with partners to generate leads?

How many rounds of interviews are normal for a small, independent agency? I’m in the process of interviewing for an associate account executive (entry level) position if that helps! I’ve had a phone screen and one virtual interview with the co-founders so far.

Currently an Account Executive – stepping up to Senior Account Executive in the next month or so. 3 years experience.
Work at a smaller agency & am fully aware that my current salary is grossly low-balled. Was told to name a number for SAE role, but have no basis for what a 'normal' range looks like for that role.

Is it worth it to take a small paycut to get the title of AE? I have the opportunity to move into an AE role at 2 new startups but both would be about a 20% pay cut from what I expect to make this year. Is it worth it to take the jump and get the job title?

Promoted to AE in the fall and have gotten no negative feedback whatsoever- I ask consistently. I have notes saved from clients, VPs, ECDs etc singing my praises and have been getting AS offers at other agencies since October. I am confident that I am ready for a promotion to AS as I am doing the duties of the empty position above me but am worried that I will look greedy asking this soon. Especially given the fact that I have never supervised anyone. I do all intern-AS jobs due to understaffing
