Hi folks. I'm a Senior Account Manager at Microsoft, 10 YOE working with board level stakeholders to onboard workloads. AWS approached me for a Customer Solutions Manager role which is exactly what I do for Microsoft. The hiring manager sent a team member who turned my interview into a technical deep dive. I'm not a Cloud Solutions Architect! Question... Is it normal for AWS to send the tech police to non tech interviews? The guy might as well been a robot.

For people who have been an implementation specialist, what role are you in now? Feel free to add your comp😁 Just getting ideas since I recently left my job as an Account Manager and have been interviewing for an implementation specialist position.

I have a first round interview coming up for risk advisory at one of the mid-tiers with a manager. This is for an exp associate position. Any advice/tips on how to prepare? Should I be prepared to answer technical questions throughout the interview?

I’m on the Board of entity A (volunteer basis) and I’ll have an interview for a legal counsel position at entity B. Entity A and B have a partnership such that me working for entity B will create conflict of interest. Should I disclose my relationship with entity A during the initial interview with entity B’s hiring manager? If so, what should I say? I don’t want my volunteer job at entity A potentially jeopardizes my full-time job at entity B.

Been with my current company for 6 years. Started in customer service and added HR responsibilities year 1. Now do on-boarding,recruiting, phone screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, offer letters, medical enrollment, and revamped employee handbook. I hold the HR Manager title when dealing with paperwork but my CEO still has not made an official announcement and my pay is not the market rate of an HR Manager. Majority of my work is still in Customer Service.
What do I do now?

Need some Advice/Feedback. Applied via referral last Fall to Accenture for Change Mgmt Consultant 1) Dec. 1st Interview - Feedback positive. in Jan. Recruiter dropped the ball, then hiring freeze came and position was gone. 2) March 2nd Interview for CHM Manager - Feedback: we want to keep you at Consultant level. 3) We decided with hiring Manager we want to move forward and open a CHM C position for you, but it will be May/June 4) wait, keep in touch 5) May/June moved to July- applied

Do I tell my manager I’m leaving the company before their 5 day birthday PTO or after?
If I tell, it would be the day before their last day. If I hold on to it will be 2 weeks before my last day.
I want to help interview for replacement if they want me to. Also wrapping up my project and Demi going into surge support work, which I expect to do while they’re OOO.

I am sure this has been asked a million times before but have a Microsoft Program Manager interview coming up. Responsibilities align really well so as far as project story telling and background I am confident. The design questions that I am reading about is what is throwing me off guard. Any tips? Do I just be myself? Do I prepare? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm interviewing for a project manager position at a place that provides support for a prominent Bay Area tech company. I was approached by a recruiter from Planet Technology. The role is a 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension.

What's the minimum hourly wage I'd need to make in order to live comfortably and afford health insurance in San Jose? I'm 30 years old w/out kids. My husband is currently unemployed so this is assuming that I'm supporting us both.

Applied for a consulting manager job and l lowballed myself (PANICKED) when they asked my salary expectation during the interview (I said 130+ but I should have said 160-180). How can I fix it once I receive the offer? Can I say “after researching the market and hearing more about the position I wouldn’t make a switch for less than 170”? Or how else would you frame it? I don’t feel pressured to switch jobs just exploring the market. Thanks!!

Looking for advice: A manager referred me to a senior knowledge analyst role at BCG and a recruiter reached out to schedule a first round interview but after rescheduling twice has ghosted me since November:( I was really interested in the opportunity and I’m somewhat bummed that she won’t respond back to any emails (2). The referring manger said she’d look into it but is going on mat leave and has been busy. Not sure what to do next without being annoying?

United Healthcare fishes, does anyone have any salary insight to Manager of Data Analytics? I’m interviewing next week with a recruiter and compensation will come up. I also would like to ask how to approach this one additional issue. Seeing as it’s the end of January, if they’re looking to fill the role prior to March, it would mean I walk away from my current employer’s bonus which pays out in the 2nd week of March. I’m expecting $20k. How do I go about asking for a one time starting bonus?

How many rounds of interview for BA- manager position can I expect. How long will be the interview process? @eygds

Experienced hire Manager here, informed before Christmas that I’ll be taking another lap but not because of performance (5/5 on scats and all operating at next level) or metrics (22mm in MR) but the only reason is I need more time in the “saddle”… During this time, I’ve been replying to recruiters and after a PPMD interview last week, I was offered an SM role at a smaller firm with a base pay increase of 45% (225k) over my current salary. Very much considering this… thoughts?

Going rate for senior tech consultants who specialize in Microsoft Cloud - specifically M365 services?

I'm close to accepting a role as Sr. PM / Engagement Manager for a large SI's Msft Practice in the upper $100K range. But just got a call from a recruiter at a Msft Gold Partner who, when I said I'd be looking for $200K+ literally answered "that wouldn't be a problem, we are desperate to fill this position". Should I accept 1st role and interview for 2nd? (start date is weeks out)

How is BDO FDD practice in HCOL area and any insights on

2. pay range for senior or manager level

Ok advice time: would you tell your manager if you're applying to a new position in the same department under a different manager? (Position is a step up)

Has anyone had a recruiter totally ghost them after they asked for your availability for an interview with the hiring manager? I had my phone screen with the recruiter last Tuesday, on Friday a different reached out asking for my availability for an interview this week and never got back to me. I followed up yesterday and nothing… feeling discouraged.

Had an interview with the hiring manager last Thursday and was told I’d move on to the final round interview. Recruiter emailed me the generic rejection email this morning that I will not be moving forward, which I replied to asking about this. Anyone else experience this before?
