Depends on your firm. At my firm you get credit towards your requirement of 8 hours per day of leave (or if it’s intermittent, the hours you enter as leave are credited).

Has anyone just taken a break from work without anything lined up? Every offer I’ve gotten wants me to start in a month and with 2 weeks notice that leaves me only 2 weeks to recharge. For my mental health I really think I need an extended break (like 3 months). I have about 60k liquid to sustain myself and pay about $1500 a month in rent.
