Lol a "lot" is not very specific. How much we talkin? I am actually pregnant right now so I've cut back a lot. I was drinking two americanos a day for the last few years, but now I just have one. Trying to stay below the 200mg of caffeine everyday.

Me too! According to USDA, which I did look up because I was kind of concerned, 400mg a day is generally the safe amount for ‘most healthy adults’. My first downfall was getting energy drinks every morning is 200mg off the bat. Then wanting a little pick me up later on. So I’m probably 250-300 a day.

I have no idea what's normal, but I know in my case I finally realized I was just drinking way too much coffee. I would just grab it and not pay any attention to the amount. And I got to the point where I just felt weird from it. I cut way back, but it took a long time. The stuff really is addictive. Now I just drink coffee at meals, which may still be too much, but it's not nearly as much as I used to consume.

I drink one 20z coffee a day and need it immediately in the morning once I start work. That will usually keep me up for the rest of the day. I don't count the caffeine anymore because I have it every single day and I don't wanna know those numbers lol!

Man, I wish caffeine affected me the way it affects other people I keep trying. I’ve never been a big coffee drinker so I get my caffeine through diet soda and tea. But I am always exhausted during and after drinking caffeinated drinks. I could down three glasses of diet Pepsi, and probably nap for three hours. I don’t know what would work for me. I haven’t found a decent stimulant yet.
