I have 8 years of accounting experience, the first 5 in public accounting. Last year I got a promotion from senior to manager. I was extremely disappointed with my raise last year, I went from 90k to 100k. I expressed that disappointment at the time I was told, but I sucked it up.

Today I was given my 2021 salary. I got a 50% raise to 150k. I am over the moon. I basically the Controller now, finally paid what I want to make.

My husband recently joined Deloitte at Manager level. Filling out his compliance stuff he saw that Alight is a restricted broker, and Alight is who administers my 401k plan at my current employer. Restrictions at Deloitte apply to both the employee and the spouse.
Does this mean I can’t participate in 401k match and need to divest existing contributions? Anyone else in this situation and have any advice for me? Can it really be true that because my spouse took a new job that I cant do 401k?

Is it ethical to leave in probation period or in first 6 months.(are there any contracts barriers).or will it be a problem for me to get into other companies.

I interviewed for an in house position with an in house recruiter. It went well and I was told my resume was escalated. I was also sent a copy of the company's benefits package. It has been 6 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I emailed the recruiter in follow up and heard nothing back. Likely I am out?
