It’s fine but seriously I’ve had countless employers call me directly and have gotten some great interviews that way just by picking up the phone. It’s a good thing to have. Some jobs are so inundated with apps that unless you’re one of the first people they can get ahold of or are one of their top candidates, you may not be one of the first they interview.
Get a Google number and put that on top of your resume if you’re concerned about your real number being out there. I get spam opportunities to my real phone number and I never use my real number for anything including ordering items online or even my job. Very few people know my real number.
No need to have your address on your resume. This has no bearing on if you can do the job. If you apply and state that you can be on site (or remote, if remote) to do the job, then the onus is on you to get there, not on the employer to calculate from your address if they think you can or not. Distance form office should not matter. The only thing that should is your ability to get there and do the job required. If you live far but have access to a good car, helicopter, space rocket, to get yourself to your job, that's your concern, not theirs. As for your phone number, get a Google Voice number (free) or a burner phone/SIM/eSIM card to use just for resumes.
I think any legitimate opportunity would reach out by email, so i think it’s fine.
I can't imagine ever putting your cell phone or address on a resume.
Pretty much every interview offer I've had in my in-house/govt search has called my cell (ok) or texted (wtf).
Not saying they wouldn't take the effort to email if it's the only option, but they do seem to prefer cell ime.
Firms all went through email, but I was working with a recruiter so came through her/ was a little different.
We only call applicants. We don't email.
Why would you not have your address or your personal cell on your résumé? Of course both should be on.
City, yes. I certainly don't have my address on my resume.
The way your phone number and address is so readily accessible through online channels that not having it on your resume is literally pointless.
Get a burner phone.
