Lawyers who have gone in-house to work for a client - how does that conversation start? Who approaches whom?

I haven't done it, but I know folks who have. It can go either way, but my hunch is company/client approaching attorney is more common.

Usually, it's something casual along the lines of "hey, we're actually thinking about [a first GC position/filling this role on our team] would you be interested?"

Keep in mind non-solicitation provisions, if enforceable in your jurisdiction.

I just got my client divorced from a truly horrible person who abused her and her children and she got everything she wanted and the kids are doing great and only one hasn't been successfully discharged from therapy and I'm just so proud of her and feel so lucky that I got to do a little to help her along the way

How much salary should I expect from Honeywell @Honeywell Automation India Ltd for sr. Project management specialist II ?Location - bangalore

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

What are valid reasons to switch from Tier 2 to mbb? Valid in terms that they will help me during the interviews?
Personal reason for me would be reputation and client attractiveness. Also more interested in revenue-side consulting compared to mainly doing back office optimization currently. Is the latter one legit to tell in interviews or too harsh about current employer?

Hi everyone. I'm pretty early in my career (just over 1 YOE) & not really enjoying my current role as a Consultant/Developer because of the type of projects I get combined with some mobility issues. However, I'm really interested in technical program management or project management and I'm looking for any advice on how to get there bc I've been applying, but can't even seem to get a call back.

(Also would really appreciate some likes on this post to get my 11 likes out of the way 😀)
