Congrats!! Huge accomplishment. Sounds like you’ve laid the groundwork to be able to be openly excited about this, as I’m sure he will be super excited for you too. Maybe take him out to dinner and tell him the great news then.

Congratulations!!! if he makes your feel like you’re “showing off” or has a negative reaction about it, think hard about whether you should go through with that wedding… your partner should be your biggest cheerleader and celebrate your successes, not behave jealously or diminish your achievements.
Just let them know! You're working on building a life together, your successes are their successes. And they'll have to get used to that, being with somebody in sales.
Don't worry about sounding like a showoff, just tell them what happened. I would wait until the check is in the bank, but once it's there you should just mention it. It's just part of your job, I don't see why the other person would have anything but a positive reaction.
Good for you! And please, please, please do not waste another second worrying about how you'll sound breaking the news. This is the person you're going to be spending your life with. They're not going to think you're being braggadocios no matter what you say - they're just going to be thrilled for you!!
