LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor are great ways to get your resume out there and to let recruiters know as well. Was recently laid off in May. Use the “open to work” badge on LinkedIn too which will let others post your open to work. Tons of opportunity out there! Take some time to yourself and reflect back too, that helped me clear my head to move forward and move on.
I always think the best place to start a job search is with your network. At least that's what has worked for me. When you're laid off it's normal to retreat a bit, but it's good to fight against that. Get on the phone, or get texting, with people you've known professionally. Don't hide the fact that you're looking for work, talk it up all you can. Someone may know of something, or, someone you know will know someone you should talk to. Leverage the power of your network.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. I started by checking in with a couple of mentors who knew my work and could help me think through what direction made sense next. Even just talking it out helped me feel less stuck.
