EquatIO is free but they also have a paid version that will convert talking into math problems so that the students can talk it out instead of type. The paid version alo will convert hand writing into math problems for an assignment.
love kami. I just got the school to buy the full version. I also use edpuzzle a lot. EquatIO is also great.
Been using Kami almost exclusively since we've been back this year and it's amazing. One of our tech people is a Kami Hero and we can get a 6 month trial using her code instead of the usual 1 month trial or whatever. Mine's running out and I've been working with others in my department and our math tech specialist to get the district to buy the full version.
Screencastify- students can use the extension to write over stuff. They can either send you a video or a screenshot of their writing
There are a ton of keyboard shortcuts that can be used. For example, on a mac command+5 is infinity. You can Google keyboard shortcuts to find an entire list. I find that many of them with within multiple programs
