What’s the best way to position yourself for a creative role (eg marketing, content development, design) when you’re coming from finance / ops consulting?

Hello,
I am Senior Full stack/Blockchain professional with hands-on experience building smart contracts and decentralized applications. Having strong knowledge of Solidity, C++, Golang, Haskell, Move, Cosmos SDK, EVM, Solana, NEAR, Aptos in particular.
Also, have good experience with building DEX, Bridge, NFT, NFT marketplace, P2P lending/borrowing, P2E crypto game, DAO, Staking, LaunchPad, etc.

I’m applying to PwC as a senior associate for a purpose role in the southeast. Is 65-75k a low range for that level?

Has anyone transitioned from partnership tax to another internal group (i.e. consulting)? Was the switch worth it?

Compliance doesn’t interest me like it used to and Partnership tax experience alone really limits exit opportunities.

Is it too late to get experience in another group if you’re already a manager?

I’m sending an email to female partner in a leadership position (never met) to set up a meeting to introduce myself. My plan is to send her a short email, giving some background about myself and let her know I want to connect to introduce myself. During the meeting, I plan to discuss my key projects, ask about her vision and how I can help her/which initiatives could participate. I’m up for Sr Mgr promotion and making a good impression is critical. Any tips? anything else I should prep?

Just finished an interview for an AE role at a high-growth SaaS organization.

The interviewer told me that their quotas are very high - barely any of their sales reps hit quota YoY. They mentioned, “goals are high to push our reps. hence our YoY growth”

Any advice for approaching a maternity leave conversation when my company has no policy, no HR dept and I have no contract? I’m a partner shareholder in my company (we’re not in the US), 19 wks pregnant. I know the time off and pay I’d like to negotiate, but my partners are male and weird about money. I’m underpaid in a very senior 6 yr position, my job is stressful and around the clock, so I want proper leave. I can’t afford childcare and our govt stat leave is terrible, it won’t pay my bills.

Had 3 rounds of interviews with a group last year in April, and the position was put on hold. They called me back today because they have need, but the SMD said that this would be a long process.

Hello, I've been a Recruiter for 12 years and my current employer was bought by another Recruiting firm. I don't like the new firms structure and the health benefits are very very expensive.
