Why would you think this was okay to do without getting compensated?
Chief
No, I would not keep doing it like nothing happened. If gas money was part of the understanding and it has been two weeks, that needs to be addressed directly. It is not on you to absorb that cost just because your supervisor finds it easier. Being helpful is one thing, becoming the unpaid solution is another.
Keep track of your mileage and your time. Employers are required to pay $.70 a mile and required to pay you for your time since you are still performing work duties. I would just ask “how are we going to handle mileage reimbursement?” (Don’t say “gas”) they have to reimburse you for your extra commute.

As nice as you may be, don’t take your coworker to and from work without being compensated. Not only is that gas, but extra wear on your car. You need to be compensated for both.
