Any good book recommendations on psychology?
Recommendations for psychology books that cover a number of ‘high-level’ topics? I’d like to learn more about human behavior- why people make the decisions they do, why drives purchases, addictions, etc. -not looking for in-depth science heavy reaources
Anyone on here in organizational psychology consulting? I’ve been reading a lot of books in IO Psych. and would love to transition to that field. Currently in ERP consulting. If you could share how you got started and any advice for someone looking to go in that field (degrees/experiences/etc).

Ok fishbowl family - I need advice. Rising senior 1 here and realizing that I genuinely get no joy out of audit. I’m way too stressed and really do not care about accounting and have made it a life goal to never book a journal entry. I want to take the next year to figure out what my dream job is and go for it. I have an interview for social media strategist with a rising DTC startup in NYC. I’m feeling imposter syndrome, since I’ve never marketed such a big, hip company. What books can I read or courses can I take to come into the interview solid and prepared? Most of my marketing theory is based on Seth Godin books and reading psychology.

How do schools feel about you jumping from a management consulting firm to startup if that startup fails badly after you join? I’m sure you could spin it as a learning experience but will that really work when you’re being compared against people from MBB/PE/FAANG?
Just got a big raise (50%+) starting July 1st that is going to move me out of income limits for direct Roth IRA contributions (prior to raise was under the limit) even with maxed pretax 401k and HSA - however I am already halfway through contributions ($3000).
