I've been approached by another agency for an open senior copywriter position. I don't want the job currently (happy where I am) but would like to connect with the CD and stay on their radar.

Should I be up front and say I'm not interested in this role but still keen to grab a coffee? Or lead them on a little bit and then say it's not right for me at the moment?

Just had a bomb dropped on me. Left an agency on Friday to go work at a new place only to find out that they had to start a hiring freeze/cancel my employment. Now I’ve got no job heading into 2021. Yahoo.

So I just joined a team as a product designer under the pretence I would be acting as a UX designer.

In talks with product managers, they express that their role encompasses being advocates for the user. Which is great, but they also stated their role is to conduct interviews, determine and solve problems, and provide rough wireframes of their proposed solution.

They say they'll involve me in the process but I am worried I'll be boxed into being just a UI designer.

Has anyone dealt with this?

Currently working as a Relationship Banker. Haven’t had no complaints with how Chase has handled the pandemic from the consumer banking side. Recently I was asked if I was interested in a Financial solutions advisor role at Bank of America. Things have slowly began to pick up at our branch and while I would like to continue my career at Chase. The bump in base salary increases as well as the earning potential. I have an interview next week for a Client Partnerships Manager role at a large entertainment company. I've never actually done a role like this. The focus would be a client partner for Tech, QSR & Finance clients. Can you all provide any insight or tips into this role whether you've done it or partnered with someone who has. Also, what do you consider the media & marketing process to be?
And is QSR mean quick service restaurant. I come from the CPG & sale world. Thanks for any input.

3 years ago was recruited away from D to a PE portfolio company to run M&A and other strategy work. Things have gone well and company is prepping for exit. Thinking about going back to consulting after exit: what options are out there? I left D as an M and would only consider returning as “senior” SM or higher. Who else is hiring at higher levels in M&A? What does starting comp look like for SM (or equivalent) role?
