I hear you. This is what we are going through with our clients. They crunch you in time and just belittling the craft and process....then saying our work is crap!!! I miss the days when creative directors were respected and clients trusted agency to lead them through.
I also need my agency’s account people to realize this.
As a fellow research person: YEP! I left to stand up my own practice because I find doing garbage research completely disingenuous. Not that there aren’t some things that can be done quickly—it’s just rarely the case that account is willing and able to adjust in the world of wacky expectations this behavior has created.
