Has anyone quit a job and taken a couple months off before searching for a new role? I'm a mid-level litigation associate and really considering just walking away for a couple months. The lateral market is good where I am, but having a resume gap worries me.

Book recommendations: Hi 🐠, can you all recommend a few books that can help me learn a little about the following topics?

- How to go about ideating a new line of service or product? (Understanding market needs and viability of the product, designing/scoping the product, etc)
- How to define a business case for funding an idea?
- How to launch a product and/or a startup?

I am an Account Executive and work in the programmatic team as part of a wider agency, but I’m not sure this is where I want to be. I want something more collaborative, creative, and less to do with numbers and budgets.

Recently, the consulting company got another enterprise client asking for a single UX resource and I am seriously considering it to diversify my experience. My concern is because this is a one UX resource request, leaving my current leadership position to become an Agile team feeding, UI-producing consultant. What are the questions you ask the client before you switch to another billable project to mitigate such risks?

Hello !! I am in the process of interviewing for a Product Manager position at PayPal - in their Global Pay Later team. I finished a Phone interview with the Hiring manager and a whole day of video interviews with the director, engineering manager and some Sr. Product Managers. I thought this was the last round.
The recruiter emailed me saying I have a last phone interview with the peer director of the director who interviewed me.
Any insight on what to expect ? I have another offer on hold.

Is it normal to interview with the hiring manager during every interview round on top of the net new interviewers?

Just accepted an offer at a public company. Going through their benefits, I see they’ve got an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP). On paper, it looks to be free money (purchase at 85% of stock value with lookback option every 6mos). Need to determine how long, if at all, I’d have to hold it after purchase.
