I think the hardest part for me is caring what people think. I think it's important in leadership to understand that not everybody is going to like you and you can't please everybody. But I tend to naturally be a people pleaser and I am actively working on that.

Hiding my disdain for men who are far less qualified and didn’t work nearly as hard to get to a similar role as me.And listening to them talk about nothing on end for very simple decisions. The insecurity is mind blowing.

A few women have been like this too but mostly men.

Got an offer for SE III at a large tech company. Product I'd be working on interests me and I think I could grow more than in my current role.

Currently I make 180k base and have ISO/RSUs @ startup (60k/yr worth on paper, but won't be worth anything for a few years, if at all).

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?

Additionally there's a yearly target RSU bonus about equal to the cash bonus. Thoughts? 4.5 YOE
