If someone is a good performer then why don't they join a direct payroll product company? Why to join a service based company? When projects are less, firing is a norm in IT industry and it's very frequent in sapient. Then why to join sapient? Some other service based company is better and better chances of avoiding layoff whatever is the reason.

You are lucky to get project. If you won't have then you have seen true colours. Currently few openings for less experienced in uhg and lloyd clients. Otherwise there is no serious requirement. They are not serious about back fill. Currently there are no new projects. Companies such as tcs gives more bench time for employees but sapient won't. Anyway projects are short term in nature. By October mostly of you will be back in bench and you can give a review of bench again. Best of luck
With his logic, even Amazon and Microsoft are bad companies. If you are good performer than should not worry at all.
PS is a good organisation with plenty of projects in hand.

It's a good company for new joiners however your salary won't keep up with new hires in a few years and the company won't make any attempt to market correct your CTC. You'll find people joining one level below you at more than your salary while you manage them and do extra work
Nope. This level of salary discrepancy is very rare. I've seen SAL1s being paid more than SAL2.
what was the difficulty of client interviews

You will face 2 interviews for each client. Internal and client interview. Difficulty level varies from client to client. Sometimes they take fake interviews and reject. In the interview feedback, they only write negative feedback and using this feedback they fire employees citing employee not able to clear 3 to 4 interviews. For less experienced, the interviews are easier and they have more bench time
Any idea about Optum client?
Its a very big account with lots of projects. Pressure varies in different projects.
