Would you leave a big 4 for a smaller firm if they offered you a 50% bump of your current salary? Asking for a friend. Work would be very similar but would also get a title bump.
Is entry-level Partner compensation generally consistent across practices and geographic locations?
Hey BAH Fish, I’m working to get an offer for an associate position. What’s a good target salary range to ask for? Glassdoor is showing an average salary of $108k.
Comp review coming up. I'm unhappy with the salary but feel like I have a bit more to learn before I leave. Anything I can say to change boost it a bit seeing as new join C's are making more than me.
Getting an email saying "variable compensation" may be affected makes me feel like a vampire in a silver mine.
Obviously not too relevant rn now but how often should I switch firms if I’m trying to maximize my salary? Ik there are other ways to max salary but ive heard switching firms can result in big changes fast. Starting my first travel engagement next week. How many shirts, pants and suits do M 🐠 carry for Mon- Thurs travel?
Company had a restructuring and a co-worker was let go. She had more experience, did more work, and made less money than others in her department who weren’t let go. Her boss (male) made some comments about wanting to be married to her, her appearance etc. all was rebuffed. She was told when let go it was about efficiency but he made the final call on who from the team got cut. I think she should at least consult an employment attorney but she’s worried about losing the severance. How do I help?

MBB folks, what’s the glamour with FAANG to you? I ask because I have done multiple strategy projects for/with FAANG, and could likely get an offer, but I still want MBB 🤨 Am I missing something?

Had interview on Wednesday. They said they would send me the test brief that night, but I still haven't received it. I already sent one follow up email that day. Am I being annoying to send another?
When interviewing, do you hear about the maternity or paternity policies? I’m female and have done interviews with 5 companies so far and I find they all tell me this - does this happen to men too?
