There’s so much hatred & contempt in the world for those who boldly speak of their faith in Christ Jesus & who publicly speak out against the Godless lies being fed to men & women. Part of society’s decay can be blamed upon years of complacency by Christians. We’ve become addicted to comfort. There’s no time for complacency-we must unashamedly & boldly keep speaking Truth. Joshua 1:9 Be strong & courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Many people believe in Jesus of Nazareth and believe He is the Messiah but do not serve Him as Lord. But believing & confessing Jesus is Lord is different. It is a positional decision which defines our relationship to Him. When we make Jesus Lord of our lives, it’s transformational. It’s deciding whose authority rules over our lives. We belong to Him. With his shed blood, he purchased us out of the kingdom of darkness into His kingdom. It is the most important decision we will ever make.

The Bible is has many passages about the characteristics of love. But it also tells us exactly what love is:

“This is love: Not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. “ 1John 4:10

There is no greater love my friends.

He is not here, He is Risen, just as He said..
Matthew 28:6

Hallelujah! Christ is Risen!

The Apostle Paul tells us in 1Corinthians 1:18, that the message if the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing; but to us who are being saved it is the power of God!✝️ Wishing each of you a Blessed Easter.

For many of us “busy season” is upon us-& it can be brutal. While good intentions may precede it’s inception-rightly prioritizing is difficult & the hrs/expectations w/the desire for success/recognition can be consuming. Asking God for help, wisdom & courage to honor Him can yield amazing results.I’ve kept this post in my office for over 10 yrs at work & made many copies for people who requested-It’s based on Luke 12:15 -“One’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses. “

We don’t often think of our attitude as something Christ cares about. Yet in Philippians 2:5 he tells us our attitude should be the same as Christ Jesus.
Whatever our attitude is-whether happy&positive or grumpy &mad-we chose It.Our attitude doesn’t reflect our circumstances,it reflects our choices about our circumstances.Christ had every reason to be resentful, even angry,but he wasn’t.I know at times I need supernatural help from God with my attitude! I love Rev. Swindoll’s quote on attitude:

I pray that each of us experience a deeper understanding each day of just how magnificent and incredible Christ’s love for us is. The Creator of Heaven and Earth- Our Mighty God and our King of Kings, condescended to earth, was born as a baby to a virgin- in a lowly stable- to serve as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. And so that those who believe in Him may have eternal life. There is no greater love my friends!

Sharing this! Had something happen at work that brought me down, a mistake I made. But when I look back at the mistake, I remember not just the regret and embarrassment, now I am encouraged by also seeing the good God can bring out of our mistakes and failures. God is good!!

Our profession is full of highly productive people. Great - right? Unless our productivity is focused on our life’s purposes & goals & we realize we have neglected the most important thing. Our relationship with God. The Bible says when the midnight cry comes & we are called home to be with the Lord -
everything we have & everything we’ve done will be left behind. Jim Elliott - the missionary once said - the most profitable use of our life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.

Our sin was great but your love was greater.

All of us have felt as if we don’t measure up at one time or another. Even as Christians we usually apply worldly measurements to determine our value & not God’s. This is an easy way for the enemy to deceive us. Our self worth does not come from the world - it comes from God. The Bible tells us that we are children of the Most High God -heirs of God & co-heirs with Christ. The is the result of Gods amazing love and grace. Our eternal inheritance can never spoil or perish when we are His!
