Confession: The only in-law that I had a great relationship with passed away unexpectedly. How many married professionals with young families are just sticking it out “for the kids”? Marriage is very dead and has been for a while. Young kids 4 and 1. My wife and I don’t fight, but share 0 interests outside of the kids and can’t stand to be around each other. I’m so ready to leave… I just can’t bear the thought of doing it to my children even though another part of me feels like wife and I would both be better parents if our lives were separate. Is my relationship worth it? Met my SO of 3 years senior year of college. Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

Whenever I have to put slides together, I doubt myself a million times and it takes too long to make a single slide. I know I have Impostor Syndrome and depression, and the longer it takes to put a slide together, the harder it is to get it done. It’s like I have a phobia for doing the work, but it’s my job as a consultant 😔 I think I fear getting it wrong, but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they have coped? My husband and I regularly attend (virtually lately) a church we love, however there’s not a great way for us to connect by way of a small group (We’re in our late 20s and I’d say the average age in our church is 50 so all the groups are geared towards parents with adult children, things like that). How do you find ways to connect outside of church?

Our god is an awesome god 🙌 feeling like it’s easier to get through the rough times. Can finally go to church and worship after so long that I couldn’t!!
