Just had a huge project get killed by the client because of stupid corporate timeline bullshit. Ever happened to you? What's the biggest project you ever had killed on you?

Do you typically work on holidays? This year I had to work a bit on Thanksgiving because we had an event. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though.

Is the CPA exam harder than actual work or the other way around? I’m a new big 4 employee and I feel like I don’t understand anything. Is this normal? Why do I feel like a dumass?

I am a final year cyber security student in the process of Graduate Cloud Support Associate (CSA) at AWS.

I have completed my first interview and received an email inviting me to a 2h15 video interview containing 3 parts of 45 minutes each (networks, OS, leadership principles).

I am currently preparing for this interview and would like some advice on how I should prepare this? As I want to make a career in cybersecurity, is this a good job as a fresh graduate?

What is the typical buy-in for partnership in a smaller/boutique firm? my firm has 9 attorneys (one associate). We aren’t in a big city- but in a larger metropolitan area. Annual revenue is 7-8 figures. I did not pay anything out of pocket/ or take out a loan, but my “buy in” is my distributions for the first three years as partner will be reduced by 20%.

Went in for my second ultrasound today and no heartbeat at 8 weeks after hearing it at 6.5. Dr. is advising a D&C with genetic testing. Thinking about getting a second scan just to be sure in a few days. Anyone go through this and had a good result? I’m trying to be realistic here but devastated to say the least.
