We are adopting new math textbooks. Does anyone have a great suggestion on the best for 7th grade?

Anyone have good alternatives to the integer card game for 7th grade? With Covid I don't think I can use the cards

Anyone have a solid 8th grade Math curriculum? I’m teaching is a mixture of Algebra 1, and Pre-Algebra. But I’m not sure how much to delve in polynomials and radicals- as they will get that in Alg 1.

Anybody have a different word to use for ‘quiz?’ The kids can do the HW with me/on their own- but as soon as you pass out a quiz- everyone freezes. 🙄 I get test anxiety, seriously.

More than the usual number of my middle school math kids claim art as their favorite subject. Any suggestions or activities for me to incorporate?

I have a medium to low 8th grade math class and an Algebra 1 curriculum would not be wise, as it needs to be more an integrated curriculum. Is this like PreAl with some minor Algebra sprinkles?!

Need ideas. We have one full day and two half days left of school after grades are due with students. We cannot watch movies. We are also packing for our new school year. What activities can we do?

Anyone using Prodigy, IXL, or other online programs? We are using iready in our district as a diagnostic but the lessons seem to be boring for the kids.

Does anyone do math stations in class? How often, what are the benefits you love, what are the drawbacks? I would love to try but am afraid of chaos.
