I started my weight loss journey and I lost 2 kilos in the first week, 1 kilo in the second and non this week. Is this normal? I have just cut down on my calories and I haven’t worked out. Is this sustainable? I’ve been trying to lose weight for a long time
What’s a good swim distance for a cardio work out? I am new to it and just did a mile and it took me a while. Not sure what I should be targeting.
😭used to run 5-7 km regularly and easily for a good 2 months, then stopped for 1 month due to quarantine, and now I can barely reach 3k again! Experienced runners, does this happen to you as well ? How long of a pause before you start seeing a deterioration in stamina

While, I’m working with professionals to get clean through therapy, I’d appreciate speaking with someone who is in a similar career to understand how they made it work and genuinely feel supported in this struggle.
Haven’t worked out in about two months and I feel like there’s no point to it anymore. My muscle feels like it melted away. How can I get back into it without beating myself over the workouts I was once able to do but can’t anymore?

Month 5 of 20/4 intermittent fasting. Down 25 pounds to ~170 lbs (stabilized there) M/53. WFH was hard but keeping fridge and cupboards from temptations (and still no booze for three months) has helped. It can be done--miss ice cream! but eating healthy in the 4-hour window. Two cups of black coffee/lots of water btw 9 pm and 5 pm. Doable folks. Don't give up. But am not exercising from home (just long walks 2x a week) due to intense work. Need to but hard to get back on exercise saddle.
