I put a slide show of rebus puzzles together. Kids love those. If you’re not sure what they are, do a quick search and you’ll say, oh that’s what those are called. I teach math and I file those under the problem solving umbrella. There is a game called Set that you can use with kids. I’ve done this in school and had kids come to me during their lunch period just to play the game. You can try printing out Sudoku puzzles for the kids to solve. I also went to the dollar store to buy simple puzzles for the kids to put together. Some kids put them together, I take a picture and take it apart and another class can do it too.
Few ideas: a scholastic bowl and throw in random questions about their teachers or Celebrities. We always play Skink on the last day. It is a probability game and my 7th graders love it. We also the last week used graph paper to design a dream house and priced out whose would be the most expensive, but the project would take longer than two days.
We play math kahoots (kids use their cellphones or share devoces). Math puzzles and board games etc
