I am already ready for the year to be over to be honest with you.
I feel the same way
I really prefer not to be asked. I don't want to be negative. It's better if I don't say. I've already asked my family not to ask me how my day was and I have promised not to bring it home.

Talk about it here? You are such a very positive person by nature- I can tell by your posts and appreciate your enthusiasm. With that said, in order to get back to that state on mind …you might need to talk about it. It might help and I’m sure other teachers can relate.
My course set up is SOOOO boring, but you know what? I'm ok with that! After years of spinning my wheels trying to set up great projects, activities, assignments, etc., I'm TIRED.
And, I don't mind some rote stuff - as far as I can tell students could use a little more rote learning. So, I have my every week stuff (journal, NRI), and then novels etc. set up. Nothing too fancy, but I have all in Canvas through November. I figure I can add activities and little projects, but at least graded assignments are all in place.

I’d take boring this yr. Be grateful you don’t have to put a lot of time into spinning the wheel. This might be your best yr yet 🤞🏼
