Do I need to call and cancel my health insurance when I change jobs? Just selected my benefits at the new company and know I am covered at EY until the end of the month.

What additional benefits are you eligible for when you get promoted to Level 7 other than executive bonus in Dec and Mobile device program?

FYI: the healthcare insurance industry + supporting industries employs millions of Americans. Don't be one of those uninformed that want to demolish it completely

KPMG 🐟, what's the difference btw the Bank of America 401k plan and the KOMg 401k plan? Why are there two 401k options??

Need advice - I currently have 2.5-3 YOE (depending if u count internships) and $180 TC. I’ve recognized the pay is pretty high and industry jobs won’t come near it for my amount of experience. If I stay in consulting another ~2 years and get to Manager level by then, would industry firms be more open to hiring me for a $180-200k role? FWIW I’m mostly looking at healthcare non-pharma.

401k advice requested - 25 years old, live in nyc, make 125k. I’ve always maxed my 401k to 19500 with a split of regular and roth. Always do the 6k of Roth IRA too. New firm has no matching policy. I understand the benefits of tax so maxing it is beneficial, however, I’m almost breaking even each month. Is it smart to slow the contributions, keep investing myself so I will have money for a down payment down the road? Don’t want to pull on my 401k if not needed

I left an omnicom agency for a Publicis one. My new benefits cost me 250 a paycheck (medical, dental, vision) for my spouse and kids. At omnicom it was 630 per check. That’s fuckin robbery right there.

Anyone give notice but ride out accrued PTO instead of a payout to keep benefits going? Is this an actual thing and if so how would one do so? Going to grad school in fall and figuring out the end.
