WLB is absolutely worst at Fynd especially if you are SDE or QA. They have QA crunch so 1 qa is assigned 3 4 models and have too much work on plate. The head of engineering is constantly trying to target and fire qa by asking how we can replace all QA with AI and automation. QAs also get less hikes. Around 5% in 2025. Every week prod deployment goes 2 3 times and you will have to attend and test at 3AM. And entire day as well same scene and next day morning you will have to come to the office. I recommend not to join.
Yes i know but i think some managers allow joining late next day but this can be exhausting if it happens regularly as u have to work 8 hours plus again at 12am to 2 pm why dont they automate this process but there are some managers also i have seen or only 1 maybe who fight for their team but they get called budhapa aa gaya hai behind back by others who enjoy this toxicity work culture just for rejecting to attend or defend their team to join at odd timings always actually i joined for a few days but left due to health concerns plus ctc they offered was quite low compared to cost of living in mumbai 36k just for rent and food although they had higher budget but i didnt had multiple offer so got lowballed but thats not the thing the 5 day work from office is what is troubling as its not convenient to go to office everyday at least hybrid should be offered their old employees doing work from home in bengaluru at least they should give hybrid to new employees plus but the fact their engineering tech stack is really good one can grow very well in career if can bear poor work life balance or hustle culture but again depends on is it worth it because many people got started as quality engineer but now manager and some even transitioned to sdes ?
