Not direct or second hand experiences but I read twice on McKinsey bowl that their culture is toxic and the pay is low (seems more emphasis on the toxic culture though)

Lots of decision making by consensus… which is hard. I serve them as client. Great for intellectual curiosity, relatively high comp for exits in the social impact sector. Lots of internal politics/ bureaucracy though
