United peeps out there, I’m looking to do a three-leg run before EOY to secure 1K. Any ideas for the quickest trip? Currently looking at ORD>STL>DEN>ORD

Looking for a 1 bed + den or 2 bed for under $3000. Updated kitchen and bathroom strongly preferred, view is also nice to have but optimizing for space rather than view. Any thoughts on buildings and/or walk-ups I should be looking at? 26 y/o female, not sure of which area I should be looking

Fellow 🐠, could you please share your thoughts on living in Atlanta vs LA vs San Diego vs Miami vs Tampa in terms of cost of living, safety and comfort for a married couple with no plans to have kids and preference to rent a 1 bed 1 bath (maybe + a den) apartment in a relatively walkable neighborhood? Our total gross income is around 200k, mostly working from home, although both my wife and I help our parents financially. TIA!

Is $2600 too much to spend on rent? I’m currently spending $2k on a 1BR w a den (740sq ft) but it has no sunlight and is facing a 10 ft wall. I’m considering downgrading to a luxury 650 sq ft 1 br w a balcony. Is it worth it?

How do you figure out what price to list your place for rent in the area? My realtor gave me a price, and I think it’s way too low ($3,250). I think it should be closer to $3,750. 1 bed + den FWIW.

Downside is that there are not very many amenities (only have a shared roof deck). Full amenity units in nearby buildings are in the $4200+ range, so I was thinking $3800 or so. Is that unreasonable since I don’t have a pool/gym/game room?

Condo 1: 750 sq ft. 1 bed plus den, 2020 build. Small kitchen/living room area (25x15 or so). Mid/high end finishes. $770k. Condo 2: 850 sq ft. Loft-style 1 bed (top of bedroom wall is open), huge kitchen and living room (10 ft island). 2002 build. $799k. Condo 2 has more amenities. They’re a block away from each other. Is it stupid to pick condo 1 over condo 2? I like the idea of an actual bedroom and a den. And I like that it’s newer. But the price per sq ft is so much worse.

Does anyone have any advise on how to become a staff video editor at a creative production company? They usually don't have any "job openings" listed on their site.

I have 5+ years of experience working at a creative ad agency, but much of the work was pitch/sizzle videos (yuck).

I'm freelancing now which has been a great step in the right direction but I'd eventually love to be on staff at a post house like The Den, Cut+Run, Company 3 etc. pumping out cool work. Just seems hard to break in.

1) Any chance that I'd get upgraded to business or Premier Plus on a transcontinental flight?
2) Will I get access to the Polaris lounge or United club when I land in London? The fine print is confusing but it sounds like I can get into the United Club because I have Star Alliance gold but not the Polaris Lounge w/out a business class ticket.

Hi all, how do you juggle 60+ hour work weeks (performance has been sliding), home/social life (everyone has been understanding but my goodness I feel horrible), adulting (living in a messy pig den now) and MBB interview prep (only a few hours a week due to schedule) at the same time? To make things worse, I love to sleep (which I’ve been giving up as often as I can but my body can’t sustain that for too much longer). 😔

Quick question for my DTS travelers: if I don’t wanna take part of a flight back from a school that I’m attending, can I just push the flight in United without any repercussions? E.g., flying back from COS to DEN to IAH on 5/20 but I wanna stay in DEN … can I just push the DEN-IAH segment in United and not get on the plane then? Will that land me in trouble? Can I even mess with DTS flights on the United app?

Real estate question: friend is considering buying a 2 bd /1.5ba (technically 1 room is a den) for $830k in Irvine. Plan is to move out in 2 years once they have a kid and rent out for about $3k a month and buy bigger home later on. Monthly payment for the home will be $4500 a month. Her and husband are in healthcare and will start making $550k HHI starting end of this year. Does this sound reasonable?
