BIPOC who started working in healthcare advertising and eventually were able to leave, how’d you do it?
My spec book gets me interviews for junior and mid copywriter positions, but when they ask me what kind of work I’m doing at my current agency, the whole conversation goes south. They either become immediately disinterested, or beam up and suddenly the interview is only about an open pharma role, which is more frustrating because if I want to stay in health I’d go for copy supervisor roles.
I have an interview for an IB Associate position at Goldman Sachs. Should I expect a technical portion in the interview?
Hi all! Just introducing myself. I’ve become a Bowl Leader here in the new biz bowl. Looking forward to it! This bowl helped me tremendously when I switched from prod co sales to full service agency biz dev. Great group! I’m now biz dev director for a production/post/animation facility. Please comment with a bit about you and your role. Thanks!
What are salary expectations for a consultant / associate equivalent (2+ years of work experience) role based in the US at development organizations like Chemonics, DAI, FHI 360, and others?
What % increase should I be looking for when jumping to industry? Currently an Audit Staff II in a top 5 US city. Getting promoted to senior in the fall but position needs to be filled before promo.
We hiring that girl from a law firm as a Manager in forensic with no experience (and no CPA or CFE). How do you think I should react? I am 2Y SC on my way to Manager this year
1st year experienced associate. Not crazy about the job and am considering exit opportunities into FP&A. When is it too late/too early to leave? Don’t want to become pigeonholed to accounting. Have no FP&A experience, but a bachelors and masters in accounting along with a CPA.
Currently working at EY and recently promoted Senior looking to switch into a Business Transformation consulting role. Could anyone provide some insights on the day to day, as we as the interview process? Thank you very much.
Recruiter reached out about a role at a company I was fired from as an intern. The role is in another department than where I originally worked. This was 3 years ago.... do I have a shot?
Anyone in Dallas hiring?
What does a finance and reporting analyst do? Recruiter reached out about this role. Seems like BO work (still decent play though)
Got promoted to manager recently and this is my first time managing someone. Does anyone have any tips for being the best manager possible and putting my associate in a position to succeed?
Why can’t I seem to find the Associate position on BCG? I saw it once and couldnt find it again. How do I apply for that position at BCG?

Hi fishes, What is the general salary range for a 5 YOE person in associate for corporate role in JPMC.
I get called by the name of the only other person of color of my ethnic group in my practice group. We’re both brown women and certain seniors consistently call me by their name, send them emails directed to me, etc. this happens from multiple people. I’ve corrected subtly in the past but after the 10x time, I can’t. I honestly feel that there is underlying unconscious racism behind it. Any tips on how to address?
Aajkal dekh reha hu..aur log v (except me) random reacts de rahe hai..

Saw this in the larger Advertising bowl by a Dad, and wanted to cross-post here. Have any of you taken years off and successfully reentered the industry?
Welcome to the bowl for synechron. We will discuss in and out of everything happening throughout the organisation. Feel free to ask any questions/doubts.
How did you know real estate was for you?
Guys can someone refer me for ALTERYX profile? I’m ADVANCED CERTIFIED in ALTERYX.
Looking for your help guys.
The disparities in hospital donations are so glaring during all of this. Some hospitals have space suits, and others have trash bags
What certifications does everyone in this space have? Which are table stakes and which really set you apart? Currently freelance doing paid search/eCommerce/social media.
I'm feeling jaded and bored with advertising. What else can I do with these skills though?
I wanted to withhold an additional $1.5K for my last 3 paychecks (I’m paid monthly). In making such change, I did not realize it defaulted me back to a single filer (I’m married). Ending up withholding an additional $2.4K as a result. All of my monthly paychecks have correctly reflected MFJ. Will this one October paycheck have any adverse effect / require additional documents or anything of the sort when I file my taxes for 2022?
I corrected my W4 for November and December.
I am in my first year of practice and am working at a small firm with three partners. They have me starting off doing family law but none of them have practiced family law. I find myself really struggling to figure things out blindly and have to go to the partners frequently for insight. How much question-asking is too much question-asking?
Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!
Any book recommendation outside of tech domain? Just read "Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World" and thought of reading something that doesn't heavily involves code and such 😅
