Been asked to present my current client’s plan and PCA in second interview for a role. Am I being over cautious by not feeling comfortable with this?

Hi Folks - Does anyone have insights on the interview structure for consultant level (summer internship) in London?

I'm so frustrated. I've been working for 10 years and I can't get an interview for Senior AD roles, but I get tons of enthusiastic calls for Intermediate ones. Im doing the work of a senior now - concepting alone, working direct with clients, guiding the odd junior - and I do a lot of stuff for the community at large that shows leadership (like conference stuff).

I've had CDs review my book and they say my work is great. Why can't I land a senior job? I want to manage, I have good ideas. WTF?

Good Q. For our 1-3 year people, it’s a 1 hour 2 staff interview. Everything above that is about 2/2.5 hours with 4-6 practice leads/senior staffers and our GM.

Our group had 3 seniors leave during busy season and I know of 2 more that plan on leaving this summer. I also started interviewing but can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of guilt for leaving our staff/new seniors knowing next busy season will be absolutely brutal for them all. So I’ve been wanting to leave my current employer for quite some time (a number of reasons). The one problem is that I’m still under a tuition repayment agreement with my employer, meaning that if I leave before September of this year I have to pay it back (about 50K). I want to ask my HR rep if this repayment agreement can be prorated since there is 6 months left. Is it worth asking or do you think they will tell my boss since my company is desperate to keep people? Who should I talk to?

I was interviewed for Product Owner but offer was given for Technical Specialist profile.
Nothing technical was asked in interview also.
Interview was related to ITIL and ITSM tools.
Is this just a position name thing ?

How different has your career been from how you first imagined it?

Team is considering a baby photo guess who game. While most of the team has a similar ethnic background, there are only a few of us that ‘stand out’. I have always hated this activity as a minority in the group. Obviously that is me, no need to pretend to struggle or call out how easy it is to guess. If I don’t participate, I may look like a spoil sport, but I don’t feel like playing along with this nonsense. How do I voice my discomfort to the organizers in a productive way?

In-house at a very corporate, big company. Kind of finding itself creatively. Apparently they drug test. Anyone know if in NYC they test for weed, or are they “only” looking for hard stuff.
