Try on different trainers. Some people swear by certain brands but I just love my air force 1s. Stylish, durable and so so comfortable!
Stretching and investing in those good shoes. I started doing yoga and can feel the difference after a day of being on my feet. The same goes for finally getting a pair of shoes that wasn’t the cheapest I could find.

I’m not limber enough for yoga 😂. I will definitely try more stretching
What I would recommend is seeing a foot doctor. Hopefully your insurance will cover custom insoles. Then I would change my style of shoe. Maybe go with some Hokas or good trainer/walking shoes. Maybe a little more expensive but it works.

I’ve heard good things about Hoka, I will look into them. I have no choice but to come out of pocket for the insoles, but they’ll be worth it.
I used to have plantar fasciitis, stretching helps tremendously, look up stretching for the calves and feet.
Proper support shoes 100% need, inserts if you can't get a good support, also check out recovery shoes. My favorite brand is Oofos- I wear the flip-flops as house shoes when I get home from work- the literal best thing that's happened to my feet! Also compression socks that squeeze the feet. Some only squeeze the ankle up and they didn't help with the feet.
Professional/self massage, of course having a professional give you a massage is going to be better but you can also do stuff at home. It freeze a bottle of water and when you're done with the day you can roll/massage your foot on it to reduce inflammation and pain. Also just squeezing and kneeding your calves and shins(not the bone but the muscles lol)

These are all amazing tips! Thank you for sharing. I will try stretching more, sometimes it simply hurts too much to do so. I am in the process of changing my shoes, but for now I will add insoles. I have to find the right compression socks for me, the last ones I had were uncomfortably tight. The frozen water bottle sounds AMAZING, and of course the massage does too!
I swear everyone in retail has some kind of foot issue. Mine are always killing me at the end of the day. Investing in good quality shoes and custom insoles has improved things a bit, but when you're doing 10k+ steps most days at work, that only helps so much.

You’re right, it can only help so much. But also, custom insoles can be very expensive 😬

Apparently losing some weight helps with feet issues. I’m a little overweight (not a lot) and my doc told me to try to lose some weight and it will help with my feet. Otherwise maybe try some of those professional shoes that are for long hours of standing?

I can imagine this would help also!
Absolutely, the majority of my days are spent on my feet on concrete shop floors. I go with scholls construction inserts.

Hmm 🤔. Those inserts may work for me too
